Great Hire By The Mets

Since I set out to make this an inspirational blog, I thought I'd appeal to all the Mets fans out there and tell you that I am "inspired" by the New York Mets hiring of Sandy Alderson as their new General Manager.

He brings a steady, long history of success in whatever capacity, including General Manager, he's worked in the world of baseball.  Plus, and more importantly for my beat down, downtrodden team, an air of class, sophistication and a no-nonsense attitude.

Way to go Mets!  Now Sandy, get to work and hire us a manager with a similar make-up and it'll be blue (and orange) skies ahead.
