Little Moments

I am the father of two wonderful teenage girls.  At this point in their life though, I am accused of being "too protective", have been told, "that's stupid" when relaying my thoughts and can be "embarrassing".  Me???

But I had one of those little moments this afternoon that just warmed my heart.  It is so simple, but one of my daughters and I are going to lunch together, just the two of us.  I am so excited!  My wife is out with her friend and my other daughter is with a friend at the lake, so the two of us will be enjoying some quality time together before the boys, the girls and other teenage activities come back into play.

Now, if I can only get her to stop texting.  Make it a great day!
